DESIGNED BY PETER SU
For this Scandinavian inspired HDB interior design, movement and experience are every bit as important as the overall aesthetic. Peter achieves this with customised carpentry for the HDB. Wood of different tones are mixed, and carpentry works have clever functions. The aftereffects are serenity and an inexplicable sense of assurance.
In the living room, the oak coloured custom-made, full height cabinet niftily stores a stowaway dining table and an embedded mirror. Simply tuck the table away for an unobstructed space. Most emblematic is Peter’s fluted panel walkway. As guests pass through to the bedrooms, they are enveloped by the deep mahogany wood. The undulating wood pieces also nicely conceal the bomb shelter.
Other parts of the home which enjoy Juz Interior’s customised carpentry services are the bedroom, kitchen and a TV console and feature wall. $40K was budgeted for this HDB project.
