Alleyna’s Alkaff Crescent HDB BTO interior design adopts a soft Scandinavian style. The clients were a young family who were looking for a home they could grow into. Their present lifestyle needs meant that the interior design needed to be a simple enough space which is easy to clean. Of course, it would help if the home was sufficiently visually pleasing. After all, who wouldn’t like to come home to a calm space?
CURVED FLOATING TV CONSOLE
In other words, no sharp corners, and easy to minimal clean up. Behold; a suspended L-shaped TV console. Hugging the bend of the living room wall into the walkway, the console improves the storage available and avoids sharp corners. The cabinet feature along the corridor includes a glass display niche.
CHILD FRIENDLY HDB
Secondly, interior designer Alleyna enhances functionality within the space with custom carpentry solutions. As a new family with a young child, the homeowners requested for a child friendly home.

Next, the extremely narrow HDB kitchen. Despite the limitations, an L-shaped kitchen cabinet design with top and bottom shelving units improve functionality. By maximising vertical height, the homeowners have sufficient storage space for dry foods and crockery.

Finally, the cleverly designed master bedroom. The L-shaped full height grey laminated wardrobe greets you upon entry. Follow the path it creates and be led to the actual bedroom. The reverse of this custom carpentry solution is a bedside niche in place of a night stand. With such limited space in a HDB bedroom, such clever solutions are important!

A bold black shower frame and accessories are toned down by the cool white marble tiles. The DBSS resale toilet renovation in the master bedroom includes custom built carpentry for extra storage.
BEDSIDE NICHE
Likewise, the common toilet renovation adopts a similar layout. However, the owners opted for a geometric tile pattern for a fun modern look.
